What's covered, what's not, and what you're agreeing to when you use our stuff.
What these terms cover
These terms cover the Ultim8Soft corporate marketing site at www.ultim8soft.com and the developer tools site at tools.ultim8soft.com. If you're browsing the marketing pages or using any of the browser-based utilities, these terms apply. They don't cover third-party services, ads served through ad networks, or links to other sites — each of those has its own rules.
Using the tools
All the developer tools on tools.ultim8soft.com are free to use. They run entirely in your browser — the encoding, decoding, hashing, and formatting happens on the page, not on a server. Nothing you paste into a tool gets uploaded anywhere, because there's nothing on our end to receive it. That said, we don't guarantee the tools will be available without interruption, error-free, or that the output will be correct for every edge case. You use them at your own risk. If a tool does something unexpected, the fix is usually a page refresh.
Intellectual property
The tools themselves, the Ultim8Soft brand and logo, the site design and content, and the underlying code are the property of Ultim8Soft. You're welcome to use the tools for whatever you need — personal projects, work, research, whatever — but the tools and the site aren't licensed for redistribution, resale, or incorporation into competing products.
Limitation of liability
The tools and the site are provided as-is, without any warranty, express or implied. We don't accept liability for any damages, direct or indirect, that come from using the tools or the site. This includes data loss, lost revenue, or anything else you might pin on a software tool. If a tool breaks your workflow, we'll try to fix it when we can, but we're not on the hook for what happens in the meantime.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — when we add a new product, change how the site works, or when the legal landscape shifts. The latest version lives at this URL. Continued use of the site or tools after an update means you accept the new terms. We'll note the last-updated date at the bottom of this page so you can see at a glance whether anything changed.
